Can I make changes for home transportation?
You can change your child's transportation by written note. There will not be any changes for home transportation taken over the phone.
 
How do I get my child on a bus route?
Questions concerning bus routes should be directed to , or call the Hartsville Transportation Center at 843-857-3774.

What does my child do if he/she rides a bus?
The school has a flyer listing all pick-up and drop off points. If you did not receive one, ask for one in the main office. Bus riders are dismissed at 3:20 p.m. They should go to the bus loop and board the appropriate bus.

What time can I line up to pick up my child in the car line?
Parents should not begin to line-up for afternoon pick-up prior to 2:45 p.m.
(The front entrance and all secondary entrances need to be clear from obstruction in order to provide access for emergency vehicles.)
 
If I am in the carpool line what should I do?
Parents should remain in thier vehicles in the car line unless they are signing-out a child prior to 2:45. If you are signing out your child prior to 2:45, pull into a parking space and park. Do not park your car in the circular driveway! This will obstruct the flow of traffic and prevent access for emergency vehicles.
 
What times can I sign my child out of school?
Parents should not sign-out their child after 2:45 unless there is an emergency. (This is to ensure uninterrupted instruction until the end of the school day.)
 
Where is the carpool line formed?
The 6th grade carpool lane is formed at the front of the school. The 7th and 8th grade carpool lane is formed at the back of the school. Each of these carpool lanes are monitored by school administration and Hartsville Police Department. Do not enter the carpool line before 2:45p.m.

When are carpool riders and walkers dismissed?
Carpool riders are dismissed at 3:15 p.m. Walkers are dismissed after car riders.

What are some rules of carpool courtesy?
Please do not block roads, driveways, or sidewalks. Do not pass another car in the carpool line, move slowly, and obey all school administration regarding movement in the carpool line.
