Student Government Association’s (SGA) function is to organize a range of student activities to communicate student perspectives to the community at large, and to provide hands-on leadership opportunities and experiences for Hartsville Middle School students. In addition to the five officers who are elected in a school-wide vote in September, SGA is composed of a representative from each homeroom. The officers and representatives meet bi-monthly with their faculty representatives to organize their work. Representatives have the responsibility of communicating pertinent SGA information to their homeroom and actively participating in the planning and execution of SGA projects and events.
