Hello!  Welcome to Hartsville Middle School.  Like your sixth grader, I am also new to the school and am looking forward to an exciting and challenging new year.  I am beginning my second year as a school counselor, having spent my first year as the school counselor for Brunson-Dargan Elementary.  I received my Education Specialist degree in School Counseling from the University of South Carolina and also received my undergraduate degree from USC.   I am a lifelong native of Florence but have always enjoyed the Hartsville area and am excited to be a part of your community. 

Please do not hesitate to approach me with any questions, concerns or problems your child may be confronting as I will try to help our students any way possible.  I also look forward to helping strengthen the parent/school partnership already in place.  So don't be suprised if I ask for your input and assistance!
